This filter is necessary if you want to change your Jeep Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD axles with different ratio than stock 3.55 – supported ratios are 3.08, 3.55, 3.73, 3.91, 4.10, 4.56, 4.88, 5.13.
Without using this filter your car’s transmission will go into Limp Mode and fault code ID51, P2502 “Transmission slipping or incorrect ratio” will appear. Filter is modifying ABS CAN bus signal and avoids car going to Limp Mode.
This filter fits only to Jeep Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD models. Do not buy if your car is not with 2.7 CRD engine.
